Therefore several MOs were developed in the gaming industry in order to provide the consumers market with various game modes, four of which are the most relevant inside these specific fighting games.
Arcade game mode is the simplest one as it evolves on very short levels, displaying control schemes that can be easily inferred only to increase rapidly afterwards on the scale of difficulty. The arcades controls are easy to be learned managing to preserve at the same time their action element involved in the fighting game.

Survival game mode is the mode that consists mostly in the players attempt to survive against the clock. In this given mode time seems to represent a real challenge inside the games evolution when players do their best to keep themselves alive in some of the most dangerous situations.

The versus mode is performed as a multi-player game (MPG) with gamers belonging to opposite teams with various options to swap sides on the duration of a chapter. If a member of the team finishes the level his team gets high scores together with several options pertaining to the specificity of the fighting game.

Training mode is the mean that allows gamers to get familiar with the "plot", providing also the possibility to practice till the gamer masters the game controls and the tricks before getting involved into the real challenge.

All the modes, especially the ones included in the fighting game levels, are created to enable the gamers to experience the games field in a dynamic manner increasing at the same time the value of a replay. High scores are also displayed during the game; they stimulate players to reach various levels with increased degrees of difficulty, these levels unfold lots of options related both to the content of the game and to its evolution.

Various instructions on how to play inside the game together with the possibility of changing key configuration to suit the players needs are also features inside a fighting game based on comic characters.
